Kenda Warhawk UTV Tire Review

-

When it comes to all-terrain performance, Kendaโ€™s new Warhawk UTV tire is built to do more than just roll over obstacles โ€” itโ€™s built to rip through them. For our Kenda Warhawk UTV Tire Review, we mounted up a fresh set and headed deep into the Mojave Desert โ€” a section freshly reshaped by recent hurricane rains. The trails were rugged, rocky, and filled with deep ruts, with stretches of buttery smooth sand washes and wide-open dry lake beds mixed in. It was the perfect proving ground to see if Kendaโ€™s latest 8-ply contender could live up to its aggressive reputation.

Polaris RZR Pro S 4 Test Platform

We fitted the Kenda Warhawks on a 2025 Polaris RZR Pro S 4 Premium, one of our favorite high-performance sport UTVs. Powered by Polarisโ€™ 181-horsepower 925cc ProStar twin-turbo engine, the Pro S 4 brings serious muscle while maintaining an impressively composed ride. Its 74-inch stance and 28 inches of Fox shock travel make it ideal for testing tires in rough and unpredictable terrain โ€” stable, compliant, and confidence-inspiring at speed.

This vehicle comes standard with 32×10-15 Maxxis Rampage Fury tires, which are excellent all-around performers, but their softer compound tends to wear quickly during long, rocky rides. We opted to install a matching set of 32×10-15 Kenda Warhawks on the OEM Polaris RZR wheels to see how they compared in durability, traction, and overall performance for our Kenda Warhawk UTV Tire Review.

We also tested a set of Kenda’s new Cross Trail UTV Tires on our Polaris XPEDITION.

Performance and Durability

From the first rocky climb, the Kenda Warhawk UTV tires showed their purpose. The stepped shoulder knobs and 8-ply carcass delivered consistent bite and composure through the Mojaveโ€™s rutted, rock-strewn trails. Sidewall stability was excellent, and even when we hammered through sharp rock gardens, there was no sign of flex or rollover.

We started out at 20 PSI, our standard baseline for Mojave runs โ€” a setting that can feel a little stiff but offers peace of mind against sharp rocks and sidewall pinch. Midway through the day, we comfortably dropped down to 15 PSI on the non-beadlock wheels, which noticeably smoothed out the ride in both the rocks and the small-chatter sections. These tires are tough โ€” even at reduced pressures, the Warhawks held their shape and composure. You could easily drop lower without concern, something we plan to experiment with as testing continues.

In the sand washes, the Warhawk transitioned smoothly from bite to float, keeping forward momentum and resisting trenching. Out on the dry lake bed, the tires tracked dead-straight with minimal vibration and surprisingly low noise for an 8-ply off-road tire. After a long day of hard testing, the Warhawks showed no chunking, bruising, or sidewall scarring โ€” just that well-earned desert patina and plenty of tread left for more abuse.

Final Verdict

After our first Mojave ride with the new Kenda Warhawk UTV tires, we came away impressed. Theyโ€™re aggressive, durable, and performed exceptionally well across rocks, ruts, and rough terrain. The Warhawkโ€™s 8-ply construction inspires confidence when pushing hard, and its balanced tread design handled a mix of surfaces without complaint. Currently, the Warhawk is only available in 30x10R14 ($250) and 32x10R15 ($325) sizing, both built on an 8-ply radial carcass with load/speed indexes of 89M and 93F, respectively. Weโ€™ll keep you posted as more sizing options become available.

Weโ€™ll continue to test them at lower pressures and on different terrain types and update our Kenda Warhawk UTV Tire Review, but so far, the Warhawk looks to be a strong contender in the all-terrain UTV segment.
