Can-Am, a brand of BRP, is excited to announce the fourth annual International Off-Road Day on Saturday, October 5, 2024. This global event unites off-road enthusiasts in a celebration of their shared passion for adventure and the outdoors. Join in and Celebrate International Off-Road Day.
This year, Can-Am is partnering with Tread Lightly! to protect off-road recreation areas and maintain the trails for the next generation of off-road enthusiasts. In honor of International Off-Road Day, Can-Am will donate to Tread Lightly! to help preserve off-road recreation areas and promote responsible riding.
This donation expands upon Can-Am’s existing partnership with Tread Lightly! and will help fund additional initiatives that benefit the entire off-road community. From trail maintenance and repair to educating and promoting responsible off-roading practices, Tread Lightly!’s mission perfectly aligns with the goals of International Off-Road Day. “International Off-Road Day is an opportunity for riders of all backgrounds to come together and celebrate our love for off-roading,” said Julie Tourville, Director, Global Brand Strategy, Can-Am Off-Road. “We’re proud to collaborate with Tread Lightly! on this initiative and take this opportunity to give back to the community and take care of our playgrounds.”
This year, Can-Am will support 25 Tread Lightly! projects, donating over $237,000. One of the projects included the construction of a bridge in Big Creek, ID that provides safe and convenient connectivity to 150 miles of multi-use trails. Can-Am invites all off-road enthusiasts to participate by enjoying the outdoors with friends and family and using the hashtag #InternationalOffRoadDay or tagging @CanAmOffRoad in their social media posts on October 5th. Follow along with Can-Am factory racers and ambassadors as they join the celebration on social media by sharing their International Off-Road Day adventures.
For those located in the Midwest, the Can-Am team will be taking part in the festivities at UTV Invasion in Waynoka, Oklahoma with the Maverick R and Maverick X3 available for demo. Plus, with Uncharted Society destinations around the globe, enthusiasts can also partake in the fun with a certified BRP outfitter.
