2024 Yamaha YXZ1000R 6-Speed Review

Our 2024 Yamaha YXZ1000R 6-Speed Review begins like this: Pull the paddles back. Green “LC”  light comes on, ease off the brake and… floor the accelerator. Wait for the engine to kiss the rev limiter, then let go of both paddles. Bang! In a moment of wheelspin before it hooks, you’re convinced the YXZ is going to sit there and spin the tires. About 5 feet from its launch position, the YXZ hooks up and starts banging through its 6 gears, 10,000 RPM at a time. The 2024 YXZ1000R is here to join the 1000cc UTV fight, with a bag of new tricks aimed at broadening its appeal past the race-day antics.
