American Honda confirmed the addition of a new, premium trim level to its flagship multipurpose side-by-side platform for the 2025 Honda Pioneer 1000 Lineup—the 2025 Honda Pioneer 1000-5 Trail Special Edition. This premium version of the Pioneer 1000 comes standard outfitted with features that are typically only available as accessories, enabling owners to have a superior product, straight from the showroom. Of course, other versions of the Pioneer 1000 are available as well—a total of seven in a mix of three- and five-passenger configurations—ensuring customers have options for any application imaginable. “Since it came on the market nearly a decade ago, the Pioneer 1000 has gained a solid reputation as a capable, enjoyable side-by-side for exploring trails, accessing the outdoors, and getting chores done around the worksite or ranch,” said Colin Miller, Manager of Public Relations at American Honda. “Honda has always offered a broad range of accessories to help customers personalize their Pioneers, but some prefer the convenience of having those preinstalled. For them, the Pioneer 1000-5 Trail Special Edition represents the most premium multipurpose side-by-side ever offered by Honda, ideally suited to let customers enjoy their vehicles to the maximum degree possible.”

The same Honda announcement confirmed the return of several other four-wheel powersports models, including the hardworking Pioneer 1000-6 Deluxe Crew two-row multipurpose side-by-side, the versatile FourTrax Recon multipurpose ATV and the nimble TRX250X sport ATV.

Joining Honda’s flagship multipurpose side-by-side platform for 2025 is the Pioneer 1000-5 Trail Special Edition, a special edition that comes with a host of factory-installed accessories, offering the benefits of customization right off the showroom. For example, Special Edition owners can enhance their trail experience with their favorite tunes, courtesy of a weatherproof audio system that’s Bluetooth compatible and operated via a dashboard media controller. A roof and two-piece windscreen also come installed on this version.

The rest of the 2025 Honda Pioneer 1000 Lineup continues to be as popular as ever. For those who use their side-by-side for hunting, fishing or other outdoor experiences, the Forest delivers, offered in TrueTimber’s® Atera camo pattern. Developed in partnership with the camouflage-industry leader, this pattern is exclusive to Honda in the powersports world.
